Registration

Please complete the registration form in full and submit it to the SIT.

The registration becomes binding for both parties upon written confirmation by the SIT.

Payment Terms

You will receive the invoice via email along with written confirmation of your registration.

The course fee must be paid via bank transfer. Please note that the amount must be received in our bank account prior to the start of the course. Alternatively, you can pay in cash at the SIT office.

Cancellation

Individual Lessons

If you cancel before the course begins, we will charge a processing fee of 30% of the total course fee. There are no refunds for cancellations made after the course has started.

High School Program

If you cancel up to four weeks before the planned start date of the program, we will charge a processing fee of 500 euros.

Withdrawal

If participants wish to withdraw from an ongoing course, they must notify the SIT at least four weeks in advance. Course fees paid in advance up to the time of withdrawal may be refunded.

In particularly serious cases of illness, accident, etc., and provided that the SIT is notified as soon as the reason for withdrawal becomes known by the participant, up to 70% of prepaid fees may be exceptionally refunded.

Cancellation by the Language Institute

Cancelled Courses

The SIT reserves the right to cancel courses on short notice if the minimum number of participants is not met. In this case, we will refund the full course fee.

Missed Sessions

There is no entitlement to a refund for sessions missed due to public holidays. Lessons missed by a participant cannot be refunded either.

Liability

The SIT fulfills the services guaranteed in the contract appropriately. Should a claim arise on the participant’s side, they are entitled to a proportional reduction in course fees for the respective case.

Contractual liability is limited to the paid fees, provided the damage was not caused intentionally nor through gross negligence. The SIT is not liable in case of strikes or force majeure.
